Marcus Reinders

Chief Executive Officer

Marcus brings a wealth of international hotel experience to NZ Hotel Holdings, having worked for Marriott International overseeing market operations for Europe, Middle East and Africa, and Asia Pacific (excluding China) prior to that. Before venturing overseas, Marcus spent several years in hotel leadership roles in NZ and Australia.

Nadya Petrovich

Group Financial Controller

Nadya has been leading the financial function of NZ Hotel Holdings for over three years. She brings solid experience to the role having served as a Corporate Accountant with Fisher & Paykel and an Assistant Manager at Ernst & Young in NZ and several international locations.

Jacky Zhang

Group Market Analyst

Jacky joined NZ Hotel Holdings in 2021 with an accounting background, initially providing support to the group finance function before transitioning into the analytics role. As the Group Market Analyst, he oversees performance metrics and asset management reporting for the portfolio.

Shaarn Luo

Group Senior Accountant

Shaarn is an experienced accountant on the NZ Hotel Holdings team having worked at KPMG and Tower Insurance prior to joining over a year ago. She oversees multiple accounting areas including capital planning and reporting.

Dilshi Jayakody

Group Assistant Accountant

Dilshi joined the NZ Hotel Holdings team earlier this year and brings experience as an accounting administrator and systems coordinator. Dilshi also oversees emissions tracking and reporting for the portfolio.

Jane Holland

Director

Jane Holland is a UK and New Zealand qualified lawyer who has been with Bell Gully for more than 20 years, and is a partner in the real estate team. She has been a member of the Bell Gully board and is currently an independent director of the New Zealand Green Building Council. In her role as a lawyer, Jane undertakes a wide range of property work for a variety of large corporates.

Norm Thompson

Director

Norm Thompson enjoyed a long career at Air New Zealand and held the role of deputy CEO prior to his retirement in 2013. He is currently a trustee at Business Hall of Fame Foundation and the Air NZ Environmental Trust. He is also a Director of Golf New Zealand. Previous board appointments include NZ Tourism, Destination Auckland Sub-committee of TAU, Preno Limited, Tourism Industry Association of NZ, Air NZ Environment Trust, and Queenstown Airport.

Graeme Stephens

Director

A Chartered Accountant by profession, Graeme managed the development & funding of a range of prestigious international hotels and resorts gaining significant expertise in the gaming, hospitality, and leisure industries. Graeme served as the CEO of Sky City Entertainment Group from 2017 - 2020. He is currently a Director of Tataki Auckland Unlimited (TAU).

Brett Russell

Director

Brett has been involved in the successful construction of a number of prominent NZ buildings, structures and urban developments through Dominion Constructors. He has also  owned and developed several commercial buildings and hotels from construction to opening and operation through the Russell Property Group, including the hotels held in partnership with NZ Superfund.

Kerin Russell-Smith

Alternate Director

Kerin is an owner and director in the Russell Group working closely with and providing support to teams across the Group. A Chartered Accountant with 30 years domestic and international experience. Whilst the Group originally focused on the construction sector, the Group now has significant property holdings which includes commercial, industrial and residential property along with this portfolio of hotels in partnership with NZ Superfund.

Steve Lockwood

Director

Steve is the Managing Director – Australia and New Zealand for Arthur J. Gallagher which includes Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Limited. Steve was the CEO and majority shareholder of Crombie Lockwood, growing it to become NZ’s largest insurance broking operation. He has a reputation for challenging industry convention and continuously pushing for improvements in client service.

Katie Dean

Board Observer

Katie is a Portfolio Manager at the NZ Super Fund focusing on Real Estate and Property Investments. She has a background in development, project management and delivery and holds an MBA and Bachelor of Engineering (Hons). She has over ten years international experience in leading teams through various stages of the project and investment life cycle.

NZ Hotel Holdings is a partnership established in 2019 between NZ Super Fund, the Russell Group of Companies and Lockwood Property Group.
